Zapotec Energy designed and subcontracted the installation of a 16.8 kW DC solar energy system on the roof of a multifunctional building located next to Heath Square in Jamaica Plain, MA. The solar energy feeds into the common loads of the building. SMART program revenue will offset costs for the building as well.  The building contains 47 units and was constructed as a LEED certifiable development with ground-floor retail space and a community room.
