We are happy to announce that Aaron King will be joining Zapotec as one of our Design Engineers. Aaron received his M.S. in Energy Systems from Northeastern University and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His studies have covered a broad spectrum of sustainable energy related fields, including renewable energy technologies, building efficiency and sustainable design, and environmental politics and utility regulation. For the past few years he has been gaining valuable experience interning at Boston area companies, such as Sustainable Energy Advantage, EnerNOC, PowerOptions and LUX research. Aaron met Paul Lyons originally though the City of Cambridge’s Net Zero Task Force, where they collaborated on ways to leverage public/private partnerships to get the city to net zero emissions by 2040. Aaron was born and raised in Cambridge and is excited to join the effort to deploy solar energy systems in his community and beyond.
